More than just a word, Everest is synonymous with extreme objectives and perseverance. Approaching it requires patience and considerable inner fortitude.

The final decision to embark on such an adventure was taken after our first encounter with Everest in the spring of 2003. The government permit that was issued then did not grant the mountaineers permission to go beyond 7000 metres altitude between Camps 2 and 3.

So on March 25th, 2004 the climbers from the Quebec City area will begin their grand adventure accompanied by 17 trekkers who will sojourn with them at Base camp for three days.
